Reflexology may be as effective as painkillers, according to a scientific survey carried out by Portsmouth university. In the study people felt 40% less pain after reflexology treatment. 

Reflexology is used in many clinics for pain management, including pain from sports injuries, menstrual pains and pain as a result of arthritis.

Reflexology is known to boost circulation and improve nerve and blood supply. For our bodies to function effficiently blood needs to deliver vital nutrients, water, vitamins to our tissues and organs, it also needs tor remove waste (such as carbon dioxide) from the blood.

Promote better sleep

Sleep problems are very common now with 1 in 3 people suffering from insomnia. Lack of sleep or a lack of good sleep can impact the body and mind. Reflexology allows the body to go into a deep state of relaxation which normally improves the sleep quality and sleep pattern.
